How and when do I choose my terrain's Faction Sculpt?
During the Kickstarter campaign, you will pledge for reward/product size (Half Table Set, Full Table Set, etc). After the campaign ends, you will receive a survey that will include questions about the specifics of your order.
On that Pledge Manager Survey, for each reward, Expansion, or Component Supplement, you will be able to choose either 1) Gobloid Warhorde Ramshackle Ruins 2) Orbital Drop Marines MOD-B Strike Fort 3) Faction Neutral Classic Gothic

What is a "VIP"?
VIPs are backers who responded to a pre-launch offer and paid a $1 deposit to reserve free product gifts. Once the Kickstarter has launched, backers will not be able to upgrade to VIP status.
HOWEVER! All backers are automatically registered as VIPs for upcoming Kickstarters :)
Last updated: August 07, 2026 11:11
I placed a VIP Deposit, how do I receive my free gift(s)?
After the campaign ends, you will receive a survey that will include questions about the specifics of your order. On that Pledge Manager Survey, you will be asked to enter the email that you signed up for VIP with. This will be cross-referenced with each backer’s rewards and the free gifts will be added to the appropriate accounts.

Can I just print my own full set using the STL Add-On?
Technically, yes.
BUT! Be aware that 3D printed versions of this terrain are NOT recommended for optimal use.
The layering process inherent in 3D printing makes the push-to-fit function very brittle, and may not stand up to repeated use. This product was designed and tested using sturdy, injection-molded ABS plastic.
These STLs are more useful for creating static, glued-together versions of terrain layouts or for printing test pieces.
The STLs will be modified slightly from their injection-molded form in order to accommodate this limitation and be compatible with other STL printed pieces.
Printed pieces SHOULD be compatible with the injection-molded versions–but this is not guaranteed and will rely on printer quality and the skill of the user.
All printed versions are exclusively for personal use and may not be modified, distributed, or sold by the end user. All intellectual property rights to FutureProof Terrain and the associated STL files remain the sole property of Snot Goblin Gaming.

Will there be any additional charges, like taxes, VAT, or customs duties?
International shipping is a complex logistical effort.
Taxes (US sales tax): These will be collected during the Pledge Manager Phase if your delivery address is in a state where it is required. VAT (non-US): Value Added Taxes will be collected during the Pledge Manager Phase if your delivery address is in a country where it is required. However, the $1,000,000 stretch goal is that we will cover half of the VAT amount. Customs Duties: We cannot guarantee that you will receive your item DDP or duties-paid; it is possible there will be additional fees imposed by customs.

What is the difference between a Basic Paint Upgrade and a Premium Paint Upgrade?
Basic Paint Upgrades are mostly just solid colors with simple shading and weathering. Premium Paint Schemes are more detailed, with high resolution icons, images, and decorations. Premium Paint Schemes are slightly more expensive due to design costs and additional passes to get details just right.

Why aren't the paint options just a part of the Kickstarter Reward? Why choose them afterward on the Pledge Manager Survey?
We structure the Kickstarter and Pledge Manager this way to avoid backer confusion, improve fulfillment accuracy, and reduce the number of support tickets received. This platform simply does not have an effective way to handle the number of variants available, and any attempt at it would end up in a Reward and Add-On list that is dozens of items long.
The Pledge Manager Survey has more robust tools and can ask follow-up questions about each product and item. We don’t love splitting the order into two phases, but it is the most effective way to get you what your ordered as quickly as possible!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
